foundation of the company as a crafts enterprise based in Münchenbernsdorf with production in rented premises in Hermsdorf

July 1992
recruitment of our first three long-term employees

September 1997
extension of the company by the purchase of real estate of 400m² in Hermsdorf, the current head office

January 1998
set-up of our own development department with two employees and extension of our staff to 10 employees

January 1998
transfer of the company into SCHMEISSNER GmbH based in Hermsdorf at the current site

September 1998
first certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001

January 2008
The founder of the company, Dieter Schmeißner, retires and hands business over to his sons Frank and Uwe. Dieter Schmeißner still supports the company as a consultant.

June 2012
move into the newly arranged premises after rebuilding the site and extending it by 500m²

Certification according to the current DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard
